Education
We our Education focused. We have been training apprentices and new hairstylists since the beginning. We encourage a space of learning from your colleagues, no matter who has more experience from another, because there is always a different perspective.
We offer internal and external education days. Whether it's from one of our Mentors or bringing in Educators.
And we will work with you to pinpoint what areas you should focus your training to elevate your career.
Alicia has been offering training for over 10 years, whether its 1-1 or group training, always geared to the stylist needs. Now offering larger classes and training to be a Davines Educator. Taking this one step further, Alicia is now offering classes for Salon Owners/Managers.
Mentoring
With over 20 years in the beauty industry, Queen's Founder Alicia, has endless knowledge available to guide you in any area of your career... and maybe even life.
Whether you just want to grow your skill and client list behind the chair, or you want to take your career in the direction of film, photography or education, Alicia knows the key elements to take you there.
Everyone on the team receives quarterly 1-1 mentoring sessions to help you explore and grow!

Sustainability
Queen's, along with a handful of other salons in Toronto have been the model for sustainability since opening. We are a Davines Salon, a sustainable at its core BCorp company. We are advocates for Green Circle Salons, our Founder's face is often found at other salon locations across the country to represent GCS in their salon. And we carry this ideal throughout our day to day lives in and out of the salon. From cleaning supplies to appliances, to consumption to our offerings to clients.
